Calligraphy Inks
Calligraphy - meaning the art of beautiful writing has been used in various
forms since ancient times. From the earliest examples seen on the Greek and Roman tablets to the illuminated manuscripts of the middle ages. Calligraphy was seen as both a skilled art and the main source of written comminication and expression until the invention of the printing press. Today, Calligraphy has become increasingly popular and flourshes as an important art form in its own right. It is enjoyed by professionals and artists all around the world.
The Winsor & Newton range
of Calligraphy Inks consists of 18 vibrant colours which have been formulated with carefully chosen pigments to ensure maximum brilliance of colour. Single pigments have been used whereever possible to make clean colour mixtures. All colours have a permanence rating of AA or A.
